Form Function Studio in Czech Village

Form Function Studio’s new office in Czech Village in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, called for a space as creative and considered as the work happening inside it. Crafted brought the studio’s design vision to life through a small commercial remodel filled with distinctive finishes and custom details.

In the kitchenette, we installed a custom tile floor in a stacked layout, cabinetry in custom colors, and a subway tile backsplash with an unexpected detail: red grout. A custom branding wall welcomes clients into the space and gives the studio’s identity a prominent place from the moment they arrive.

Our team also framed and built the conference room, installed its sliding glass door and Clear Story glass lighting, and coordinated the electrical and lighting work. Together, these elements create spaces for focused work, collaboration, and client conversations.

The result is an office that reflects Form Function Studio’s personality while supporting the way their team works—a welcoming place to share ideas and help clients imagine what’s possible.
