Marion Basement Finish with Guest Suite, Dry Bar & Game Corner

This basement finishing project in Marion, Iowa, gave these homeowners more room to welcome family and enjoy time together. After previously completing their basement bathroom and laundry room, our team returned to finish the remaining space with a guest bedroom, dry bar, and custom game corner.

The new guest bedroom connects with the previously finished bathroom and laundry amenities to create a comfortable guest suite. A dry bar provides a convenient spot to serve snacks and drinks, while the custom game corner and gathering space give friends and family plenty of reasons to stay awhile.

Completed just before Christmas, the basement was ready to welcome the homeowners’ son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren for the holidays. Now, they have a place where overnight guests can feel at home—and where family visits can turn into lasting memories.
